Not always. We'll always assess the area first — if something doesn't look like a straightforward skin tag, has changed recently, is bleeding, or we're unsure about it for any reason, we won't remove it cosmetically, and may advise you to have it checked by your GP or dermatologist first.

The treated area will usually form a small crust or scab. This is completely normal and should be left to come away naturally — you may also have some redness or tenderness around the area for a short time. We'll give you full aftercare advice before you leave.
